Unlike most holidays, I feel like this one is pretty self explanatory as to how you are supposed to celebrate it. If you are at all confused, you can look it up on wikipedia here. To summarize, Steak and BJ day was devised as a counterpart to Valentine's Day. Since most of the fawning is in the direction of males doting on females on Valentine's Day with candies and jewelry and such, it was determined that the male counterpart would feature those items listed in the title of the holiday. A thought crossed my mind regarding this holiday. What are we to do when March 14th is a friday? A day on which Catholics are not supposed to eat meat. Will Bishops lift the rule for that friday as they have done with St. Patick's Day this year?
