Slither is teh A wesome

I finally saw Slither last night. A result of me being really bored with my friends at the bar and having nothing else to do. I saw the 12:30 AM showing of Slither. It was absolutely amazing. Nathan Fillion pulls off a great part and whoever plays the mayor does an equally awesome job. The entire movie is quite tongue and cheek and you really have to go in there with that sort of expectation. It's like a Bruce Camball (Army of Darkness) movie, but with a bigger budget... a much bigger budget... and better acting... much better acting. The first half hour or so is actually pretty slow, and I thought all of the hype I've been seeing about how amazing this movie was was misleading, but then the barn seem comes along. And let me tell you after the barn seen everything blows up... literally. I can't recommend this movie enough, it's such a fresh experience in cinema. There has literally been nothing like this movie in a long while, possibly since Bubba Ho-tep, which I havn't seen but have heard good things. It actually reminds me a lot like Tremors, but quite a bit funnier. It made me really want to see Tremors again...damn that was a good movie too.

I stand alone
