Apparently as many as 2000 Japanese have been swindled by a company called "Poodles for Pets" and when they purchased poodles from said company they were given sheep instead. Most of them did not however noticed that they had been fleeced for some time. It took some celebrity's realization that their "dog" was not parking to shed some light on this woolen situation. My favorite part is this:
One couple said they became suspicious when they took their "dog" to have its claws trimmed and were told it had hooves.
